Pasonki/Pasonki -Bilingual

Pasonki is a fun word to pronounce and learn. It means THANK YOU in Asháninka dialect spoken in Peru and Brazil.

Pasonki is not only a normal (standard/regular) thank you word that comes from our mouths when we want to thank someone, but it is a word that is only used when it comes from the bottom of someone’s heart.

The Bible encourages us to give pasonki to God. Psalms 107:8-9 (NIV) says:

Let them give thanks (PASONKI) to the Lord for his unfailing love
and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

What a great time to come before God this Thanksgiving and give him pasonki!

Maybe this season is hard for you to say pasonki to God, and that is okay. Just know that God loves you so much, no matter what. This time of pain will pass; joy will come again as He has promised, and then remember to give God pasonki from the bottom of your heart.

Pasonki es una palabra divertida de pronunciar y de aprender. Significa GRACIAS en Asháninka la cual es un dialecto hablado en Peru y Brazil.

Pasonki no es una palabra normal de gracias que damos cuando le decimos gracias a alguien, más bien es una palabra la cual se usa solamente cuando sale de lo profundo del corazón.

La Biblia nos motiva a dar pasonki a Dios. Salmos 107:8-9 (NVI), dice:

¡Que den gracias (PASONKI) al Señor por su gran amor,
por sus maravillas en favor de los hombres!

¡Que buen momento de ir delante de Dios este día de acción de gracias y darle pasonki!

Pero, tal ves esta temporada es difícil para ti decirle a Dios pasonki, y está bien. Solamente recuerda que Dios te ama mucho no importa tu situación. Este tiempo de dolor va a pasar y la alegría volverá como Él lo ha prometido, y entonces recuerda de darle a Dios pasonki de lo profundo de tu corazón.
