Where is Baby Jesus?

For Christmas, we have numerous nativity sets up at our house.  (I’ve added more as the years go by.)

At first glance, they look very normal.  However, what is a bit unusual about these nativity sets, is that the Baby Jesus is missing.  When my daughter, Zoe, was young, she really wanted to find the Baby Jesus figures and kept asking me where they were.  I wouldn’t tell her though, because they would appear on Christmas morning.  (If you try this, you must remember to put the baby Jesus figures back in the nativities before your kids get up.)

With the commercialization of our society, I tried to look for ways to keep Christmas about what it should be. This was an easy one for me and I thought some of you with smaller children might want to try it also.

I was excited as we began this tradition and recognized Jesus coming and being the real meaning of Christmas!

May God bless your day as you look forward to the coming of Jesus.

Have a wonderfully merry  Christmas which is full of the wonder of Christ!

Blessings,

Thora
