The year of 2023 has been deemed by some as “the year of A.I.” The advancement of artificial intelligence has exploded so swiftly that even billionaire, Elon Musk, who recently founded his own A.I. company (called x.AI), has some very grave concerns regarding the future of A.I.
In an article published by Time Magazine, Musk stated: “AI is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance or bad car production…it has the potential—however small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial— it has the potential of civilization destruction,” Musk said in the interview., Aug 6, 2023.*
AI and Chat GPT are rapidly changing the world we live in. Photoshop and Chat GPT have made it possible to deceive the masses at a faster than normal rate. We can no longer definitively determine if what we are reading or seeing, is real or computer-generated fake information.
Since I first became aware of ChatGPT and how it works, I’ve asked myself why bother writing blogs or finishing my latest novel? If a Chatbot can create art, or craft plotlines and write dialogue faster and better than the average writer – why should we mere mortals continue to use our artistic gifts?
As a Christian, Scripture tells us: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Colossians 3:23 NIV Emphasis mine)
The Lord also reminds me that HIS WORDS revealed in the Word of God cannot be duplicated by a robot. Satan has always tried to counterfeit what the Lord has created, but God’s Holy Word has withstood the test of time.
Unlike AI and Chat GPT, photoshop and media disinformation – the Bible can be trusted 100% of the time. The Bible was written by 40 different authors on three different continents in three different languages over the course of a 1500-year period. Yet, the Bible is perfectly congruent, and nothing contradicts!
In a world full of frauds, fakes and BOTs, the ONLY reliable source for peace, comfort and answers in a world gone crazy is the written Word of God. History has shown us that with every turn of the page – Scripture reveals the infallible truth of HIS STORY.
