I was going through my amazon books wishlist looking for a new book. As I was looking though it, I was amazed at how many books I have saved about living fearless or being brave. I have several that are also related to raising fearless, brave, and strong girls.
As I was thinking about why I have so many of these books, I heard a still, small voice tell me that we should live brave and fearless because we are Daughters of the King. YES! Yes, we are! It is my job to live as a testimony of this to my growing girls so that they step into and live this in their lives.
How do we do this? We can read ALL the books… or we can lean into the Father and ask Him to equip us and break the chains that hold us back.
“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
“If God is for us, who can be against us? Since He did not spare even His own son but gave Him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?” Romans 8:31-32
Let us trust in the Lord and know that when we don’t feel fearless, brave, or strong, we can rely on the One who is all of those things and more. He will never leave us in our times of need and He is strong enough to fight our battles. For when I am weak, He is strong.
