Be Strong and Have Courage
Honestly, has there ever been a time in our lives that we needed more to hear, “Be strong and courageous!”
The last couple of years have been bonkers and it seems the country gets more polarized, and I see more and more hateful things online—even from Christians. I would say, be strong and have courage to exhibit the fruit of the spirit. (even when you want to spout off negative things)
God is with us all the time. Deut. 31:6 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Our hope is not in our current government, past government, or future government. Our hope is in the Lord. Our hope is not in Republicans or Democrats. Our hope is in the Lord.
Psalm 31:24 says, “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
We know God will be with us through anything that comes.
Joshua 1:9 says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
I say to you today and I say again to myself, “Be strong and Courageous! We have a great God who is worthy of our hope.”
