Remember the fun childhood song that sings, “The more we get together, the happier we’ll be,”?
Being a woman brings its challenges, but one of the biggest obstacles I’ve found myself knee deep in is rooting myself in a community. It is incredibly important, most especially for women in Christ, and yet it can be a rather difficult process. I’ve found that the older I get, the more I truly need Godly women.
Not only has having a tribe helped in my own individual circumstances, but even in my family. The best advice I can give when it comes to finding your community is to seek and pray.
I am blessed to have found the women I have in my life simply by taking a step forward and talking to them. Some of the greatest warrior friends I have are the ones that I invited myself to coffee with. Sisters in Christ, there is a reason why Jesus had his disciples. We are literally designed by our Creator to lean on Him and with Him comes the entire body.
I pray the Lord blesses you with a community of women that you are equally yolked with. The power behind a group of God fearing women is fierce.
