Honestly I don’t know why after so long it still
surprises me when God answers my prayers.
I think He enjoys it.
I coordinate the Back to School Giveaway. And with the event coming up in July I’ve started
organizing. As usual I sent out an email to my core team members that help to
organize volunteers and 3 of them were unable to help out this year.
At first it was a little un-nerving but I talked to myself (as I often do…haha) and
remembered when I first started the event and the Lord provided all the
volunteers I needed. So I talked to the Lord about it again and within about a
week I had all the open core team positions.
And it’s amazing too because somehow God hooks me up with people that don’t run in
the same circles as me. I love that!
When God answers prayers there is this great encouragement. It’s like he’s saying, “yah, you’re on the right track” or “I believe in what you’re doing”. Like a parent that cheers you on from the bleachers except he runs out onto the field, scores the goal for you, and it’s not cheating!
He never ceases to amaze me.
What have you asked God for lately?
Because I’ll tell you this- He believes in you- and wants to see you succeed.
Just ask Him.
