Overcoming!
I believe the “Overcoming” conference really did help women overcome! (This was our Women’s Conference theme for 2012 with speaker, Brenda Gatlin.)
After fabulous worship times, we had intimate teachings which brought us closer to God’s heart for us, how He sees us, and we experienced His presence.
These are a few of the things I got to hear of God doing during our time together:
*Brenda’s sermon on the lies of the enemy regarding outward appearance was very applicable. I have struggled with this for some time and it never occurred to me that these are lies from the enemy!”
*”I had been filled with anxiety…doing so much but not waiting to see what God WANTS me to do. This really helped me let go of fear and anxiety and give it to God. I’m His. He loves me.”
* “Beautiful ministry times helped me connect to the Father.”
*”God’s Presence has been so strong among us.”
*”I left feeling full of peace.”
I will add this:
*Women opened their homes to guests attending the conference from out of town.
*Tons of Vineyard North Phoenix women used their gifts to serve and bless others all through the conference.
Go Vineyard North!!!
I was also blessed to see women from a ton of different Vineyard churches including a few Vineyards from California, one in New Mexico, and Vineyards from all over the valley. We also had numerous other churches and denominations represented. It was good seeing the body worshipping together.
It is always exciting and humbling to see what God will do!

My main “takeaway” was inspiration to seek God more and to depend more on Him for help and deliverance. It was evident that Brenda’s intimate walk with Jesus overflowed into the audience. I want more of that!
