Encouraging Others through Prayer

I have been so fascinated by Paul. A man who has every reason to be angry or upset but spends his time encouraging those around him. I strive to live like Paul. My life’s mission is to share the Gospel and lift up those around me.

Paul’s starts every letter he writes with how he prays for each of them and thanks God for them. This is absolutely beautiful and amazing and touches my heart.

Imagine if we spent our time praying for the people in our lives and thanking God for them. What a world this would be if we showed more love and gratitude for others. ♥️

This would be especially amazing if we took it a step further and prayed and thanked God for our enemies and those we don’t agree with. If we spent time thanking God for them, our hearts would soften and just maybe we’d come to see them as God does; with love, mercy, and forgiveness.

Let God use you today to be a prayer warrior for your friends and yes, even your enemies. Take a few moments in silence and see who God highlights and ask Him what kind of prayer they need. Then (if you can) send it to them! See how God uses you to work in them and pay attention to how He uses this to work in you.

  1. Thank you for emphasizing the way Paul prays first and foremost for each group of people as he journeys through. It reinforces in me how we should pray for one another. This is a beautiful message.
