“When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.”
Ephesians 3:14-15
Paul was kneeling before the Father. No matter that a Roman guard was in the room, perhaps even chained to him. Paul was on his knees. Paul was unashamed to pray.
You know, seeing someone pray can have great impact! I’ve seen so many pray over the years and felt like I was seeing some intimate part of that person’s life. I guess it was.
The prayers might be soft or loud or long or short. We do not always have a quiet room to run to. Sometimes, the most important praying must be done in the midst of turmoil, people, and problems. I don’t think any of us will ever be forced to have our quiet time as Paul did, chained up.
We are not in chains, and yet there are times we should be praying and don’t. People like Paul,( prisoners for Christ, so to speak) pray for us.
Some people even move to America to work among us and pray for us. Did you know there are various countries who now send missionaries to the U. S.? Yes, we all need prayer.
We need to pray for others too—in our country and in other countries. Whenever, wherever, for whom ever. Let God guide you as to your prayer. Feel freedom to pray when and where God guides you.
Talk to God. During the day. At night. In the morning. In the good times. In the bad.
Just Pray.
Blessings,
Thora
Thank you for sharing this, Thora. I, too, love to watch and hear other people pray. Amazingly, I have never thought of missionaries coming here to America from other countries and praying for us.
I love prayer time too especially when I can see a person’s face relax and feel the Holy Spirit.
