With a smooth cup of coffee and Psalms 136 on my mind I sat down to write my first women’s blog for 2016. I began to reflect on 2015 and the events of this past year. The Lord kindly brought to my attention the instruction, direction, correction and inspiration that came with 2015. I thought how Psalms 136 so beautifully shows us in everything the moral of the story is God’s love endures forever!
So here are a few things from 2015:
Whatever life brings, I have learned – God’s love endures forever
When my heart was in anguish and I cried out to the Lord – God’s love endures forever
When I needed to take refuge – God’s love endures forever
When friends leave – God’s love endures forever
When accusations arise and I was devastated – God’s love endures forever
When mistakes are made – God’s love endures forever
When we believe for the impossible and it is yet unseen – God’s love endures forever
When the enemy is like a swarm of bees around me – God’s love endures forever
When my strength is gone and I feel helpless – God’s love endures forever
When the Lord opens the closed doors – God’s love endures forever
When the closed doors stay closed – God’s love endures forever
When the Lord makes the foundation sure – God’s love endures forever
When a single life is changed – God’s love endures forever
When you hold the hand of the dying, comfort the widow, feed the hungry and see of the orphan rescued – God’s love endures forever
When the Lord overcomes and the church is victorious – God’s love endures forever
When the fellowship of the church is so sweet and hearts are melted together – God’s love endures forever
When pride gives way to humility – God’s love endures forever
When we surrender our will and our way to God – His love endures forever
When the Lord fills your hands with blessing – God’s love endures forever
And when the Lord allows you to release that blessing to others – God’s love endures forever
I can truly say 2015 was an awesome year! Lord may 2016 be even better!!
From my heart to yours,
DaNetta Fernandez
Thank you for that DaNetta. What a great way to reflect on the past year and look forward to the new one! Appreciating the challenges right along with the blessings is not something I always do well. Maybe if I put your blog together with the earlier one called “We Bought a Jar,” it would help me to make the reflecting easier and even more sweet. 😉
With the good, the bad & the ugly–God’s love endures forever.
