My hearts desire!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.

Throughout my years as  a Christian the scripture Ps. 3:5-6 have been a reminder of hope and strength. I’ve quoted, prayed and journaled this scripture always anticipating that the outcome would go my way and it would be a “happy” ending to difficult times in my life. But what is our true desire, the truest of true desire of our heart? I’ve come to realize it is not the outcome of circumstances, the resolving of conflict, the ending of situations; but the truest desire of my heart is nothing more than Jesus. The desire of our heart needs to be more of Jesus no matter what we face, no matter how hurt we are, no matter what!

JESUS + nothing = EVERYTHING!
