As 2020 is winding down, I wanted to share some words of St. Francis of Assisi. I think they are especially powerful for Christians right now. Our country feels more divided and we all need hope. Our hope is Jesus.
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light; and
Where there is sadness, joy.
May we, as followers of Christ, be instruments of peace in 2021.
