Back to School Giveaway

This weekend is the Back to School Giveaway.

Saturday, July 11th Come early! We will begin serving at 8 AM.

We are giving away hundreds of backpacks with supplies. This year it’ll be a drive-thru because of COVID-19 & our volunteers will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing precautions.

The line should go pretty fast as we’ll have 5 canopies setup to serve. Families will stay in their cars and choose backpacks from their windows.

We’ll have a prayer area where guests can pull over and receive prayer from their cars.

This event is so close to God’s heart. The importance of children shows up in the bible over and over again. God uses them instrumentally. From the loaves of bread & fish that fed the five thousand in John 6:9 to the famous- “Allow the children to come to Me; do not forbid them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” in Mark‬ ‭10:14‬.

God sees children and families as valuable and this event reflects that part of his heart.

So if you know someone in the Phoenix area that needs a backpack and some school supplies for the school year coming up in August, please have them come this Saturday.
