I’m growing more appreciative of little acts of kindness these days.
Kindness, after all, is a fruit of the Spirit. Gal. 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, KINDNESS, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…”
I want to “Do Kindness” and “Notice Kindness” more often.
My sister died a few years ago. What a tremendous loss. I lost my sister, but I cannot imagine what my parents went through, losing one of their children.
My Mother turned 85 on June 27, and what I saw on her facebook page, was 9 of my sister Thaila’s high school friends, wishing my Mom a Happy Birthday. Granted, we grew up in a small town, but their simple gesture almost made me cry. It was so nice of them to show a small kindness to my Mom. (and it only took a minute or two)
Small Kindnesses. I’m thankful for them.
Be on the Lookout to notice the small kindnesses around you!

Sometimes it can mean to someone strugglinh that life is worth living after all.
How wonderful of your sister’s friends. God bless your mom.
My father would always visit the parents of friends when he went to his home town.
