Give More to Live More!
John 12:24 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
It’s no secret that people with a strong social support system tend to live longer than those who don’t. I’ve read this in articles numerous times. However, it turns out that it’s not what your friends and family do for you; it’s more what you do for them, that really counts. Stanford University psychologist Lewis Terman, in an academic study lasting eight decades, found that the men and women who liked to lend a helping hand –the ones who cared for their neighbors, the ones to whom others went for advice—lived the longest. They gave of themselves over and over.
Proof, once again, of the value of serving.
I wonder if in the giving of ourselves to others, real life comes as a result. Life worth living. Multitple benefits.
Who has not felt renewed after giving out in a way God directed?
Bless you as you pour yourselves out to others and God sends Blessings back your way in 2018!

My heart pounds faster and happier when I am giving to others!!

I also saw that people who are generous are less depressed.
