Diamonds

Diamonds! They are one of God’s most beautiful and inspirational creations. Though they sparkle and shine bright diamonds don’t start out that way; however given enough pressure and time the stone becomes spectacular!!!

It is easy to think that the circumstances and situations in our lives are random events that are happenstance; but God is always in control in our life. We are safely in His strong hands and we must trust that God is always governing and working all things together for our good and the good of others in our lives. Every struggle we face, every temptation we encounter, every heartache that comes our way, the truth is we are not alone. We are God’s beautiful “diamonds” and He is working in our lives for His good pleasure working all things together that we might display the brilliance of His glory.

We can take comfort in knowing that God’s eternal love surrounds us even when the pressures of life,  sorrows and tears come our way, remember they only last for a season. In time, just like the diamond our hearts will heal and we will sparkle even more brightly; because, the trails, struggles, and heartaches we face today will become the priceless jewels in our lives in the days to come.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” Romans 5:5

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.’ Romans 8:28

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

  1. I love the analogy of diamonds–jewels made in darkness & pressure! It is like a promise–which in reality is soooo difficult & hard to understand, but the promise & the results are so good. Love that you spoke of it!
