God’s Goodness

God doesn’t seem to mind when we question. In fact, He seems to like it. I feel He uses it as a teaching moment. I had been questioning if I should be keep a certain commitment. I kept saying, if I should let it go, Lord, please take me out.

I got a head cold and I was taken out of life unexpectedly… it sounds dramatic, I know. I can normally function during a cold, but I honestly don’t remember much of that week… at all… But things went on smoothly. It wasn’t a big deal that I was out. Sure, people noticed, but it wasn’t a breaking moment. It was after that when God spoke to me. He said, “My Dear Daughter, I don’t need you in this commitment to fulfill what I am doing. I put you here because it’s where your heart is. I know you love what you are doing, and I love that you love it. It’s up to you if you want to stay and walk out what I am doing.” It was an eye-opening thing to hear from Him. Of course, I love being involved in what God is doing! It is my heart! I was humbled at the love God showed me in that moment. He doesn’t NEED me… but He wants me. God is so good!

God is so good at taking our bad situations and turning them for good. We have an amazingly kind Heavenly Father who only wants the best for us. It’s important to look to Him when uncertainty creeps in. He will show us Truth when we are doubting. He will show us Kindness when we are hurting. And most important, He will show us Love in everything.
