What will make my life better?

PsychCentral reports, “Religion makes people feel happier.”

I read this on June 30 in the Arizona Republic.

Here are some of the positive things this secular research mentioned are results of those with “religion”:

Having supportive relationships.

Being supportive to others.

Having meaning and purpose in life.

Using talents, hobbies, etc. for others outside of work.

Provides optimism about the afterlife.

Creates a sense of a moral compass that guides one to act in moral ways—which in turn helps us to get along well with others.

I always love it when secular research goes along with the Bible and Biblical principles.

Obviously, I realize it is not “religion” but community with Jesus and other believers that makes life better!

One thing this article says to me is that it is good to share life with other believers! It really does make life better.

Blessings,

Thora
